Lake Chelan Washington Lakeside Steamboat Landing 1910 Real Photo Postcard
The S.S. Lady of the Lake, launched in 1900, was a prominent sternwheeler operated by the Lake Chelan Navigation Company, serving the remote communities along Lake Chelan in Washington State. This vessel, seen at the Lakeside landing, was instrumental in connecting the small settlements and early industries scattered across the 50-mile-long lake, which was otherwise largely inaccessible.
